Shawnee Smith is an American performer, musician and actress. Her birth date was July 3rd, 1970, and is 5'3". Smith's most famous roles are in the roles of Amanda Young and Linda on the CBS sitcom Becker. Smith was a founding member of Fydolla's Ho which was a heavy metal ensemble who toured throughout all of the United States as well as the United Kingdom. Smith also came up with Smith & Pyle together with Missi Pyle, to create a desert country rock band. The parents of Shawnee Smith are Jim Smith and Patricia Smith. Jim Smith was an ex-pilot in the United States Air Force. He was also a medical oncology and financial planner. Smith's family moved from South Carolina to Van Nuys California in the year she turned one year old. Her parents split when she was two and her mother was married again at the age of eight.
